Our Advanced Technologies

Cone Beam Computed Tomography

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a sophisticated diagnostic tool for analyzing bone structure, nerve tissue, and sinus cavities. CBCT technology is instrumental in customizing tooth replacement solutions because it provides a more in-depth and complete picture than digital X-rays in one quick scan.

The single 3D image created from your scan is essential for planning more accurate and predictable dental implant surgery. It also makes pinpointing areas of densest bone far more precise, which is crucial for surgically placing All-on-X full mouth dental implants at specific angles. The All-on-X implant technique often eliminates the need for bone grafting.

Intraoral Scanner

An intraoral scanner is a device shaped like a wand or large pen that captures 3D digital impressions of your mouth. This tool eliminates the need for analog impressions, wax-ups, and conventional fabrication processes associated with all-ceramic restorations.

In-House Milling Machine

Our on-site milling machine enables crafting the highest quality restorations from zirconia. This preferred ceramic material offers high compatibility with the human body, superior stain resistance, and five times the strength of porcelain and other crown materials. All full arch solutions are milled at our in-house dental lab and stained and glazed by Dr. Jonas Ashbaugh.

3D Printer

Unlike milling, which carves an object from a single block, 3D printing employs an additive process by building layers to create complex curves, holes, and tiny shapes easily. Multiple parts can be printed at once with little to no waste product. The All-on X dental implant protocol allows our implant dentist to surgically place implants and deliver temporary teeth the same day. The temporary prosthesis is custom-printed on our 3D printer. The dental applications for 3D printing are continually expanding, and we use ours to print surgical guides and temporary restorations.

MicronMapper

We use this high-precision device to measure implant positions accurately, ensuring your final prosthesis’s proper fit and function. By providing accurate measurements, the MicronMapper eliminates the need for physical dental models and reduces time in the chair and overall treatment duration. The end result is a more efficient, precise, and cost-effective process. This tool is equally adept at photogrammetry and soft tissue scans, streamlining the scanning process and simplifying our workflow.

The Benefits of Our

Because restorations are fabricated on-site at our cutting-edge dental lab, you won’t have to visit another office or wait several weeks to get your new teeth. This technology enhances our ability to deliver the highest quality and affordable dental implants in Jacksonville, FL.
