Meet The Team - Jacksonville, FL

Jasmine graduated from Baldwin Senior High School in 2015. She started in the dental field in 2017 and became apart of the Blue Sky Dental Group family in August of 2019 .  Jasmine loves to stay active. She danced for 14 years and played soccer for 7. She’s also the most amazing dog mom.

Destini has been a dental assistant since 2018. In her spare time she enjoy long walks, fishing and trying new restaurants. Destini is a Jacksonville native and loves her cats! Very friendly!

Tamara is a trained and certified dental assistant but she was/is a dental from Costa Rica! She is currently studying her U.S boards to receive certification to practice full clinical dentistry in the U.S. Currently she is only practicing as a dental assistant but is one of our best! Tamara is super active in the cross fit community and is as active as them come!

Lindsay began her dental career 12 years ago, where she grew up in the panhandle of Florida. She went on to receive her Associate’s degree at Northwest Florida State College as a scholar athlete for the Lady Raiders softball team. Once softball was over, she made dentistry her passion! She became a Dental Assistant and moved to Tallahassee Fl. to further her career in Dentistry.

She continued her studies at Tallahassee Community College receiving an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014. Lindsay married the love of her life Derek and has a beautiful daughter Mia. She added some amazing fury babies along the way with her cat Marley and new rescue pup Luna!

She enjoys cooking for her family, camping, disc. golf on the weekends and game nights with friends and family. Lindsay’s favorite part of her job is providing patients with the best experience possible during their dental visit. Making the patient feel comfortable and at home is what she strives for, with the ultimate goal being to educate and build long term relationships with her patients.

Leah is born and raised in Jacksonville and graduated as a certified EFDA at Florida State College of Jacksonville since 2009. Graduated with 4.0 and on the deans and presidents list. She originally started her career as a chair side dental assistant learning the trade in all specialties. Over time she was given the opportunity to expand in the business management side of dentistry which she enjoys most.

She learned to share her experiences with patients and help make their dream financially achievable. Her favorite part of this position is being able to play a part in changing a patient’s confidence with just their smile. Watching them enjoy their new smiles and get to know them more along with their families.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son and family. Hobbies include cooking, playing the violin and piano.

Katie has been working as a dental assistant here at Blue Sky Dental Group since August of 2017. She graduated from Fortis college on the presidents list and with her expanded functions certification . She bilingual, also CPR and phlebotomy certified. Katie has been apart of our family since we’ve opened and we are so grateful to have her.

In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, baking, listening to Christian music and vacationing in Puerto Rico. Favorite tv show is Breaking bad and movie is US.

Katerina has been practicing dental hygiene since October 2016. She received her Associate of Dental Hygiene at Sanford Brown in Jacksonville Florida and an Associate of Arts in Venice Florida. She is certified in CPR, Local anesthesia and is a certified notary. In her spare time she enjoys exploring the city of Jacksonville with her husband and 3 year old son. She also enjoys going out for coffee with friends and family.

Karina has been a dental assistant for over 10 years. It runs in the family! She met her husband at another dental office who is also a dental assistant(not with us). Karina is an expert at making temporaries is my go to girl for patients with dentures. Karina is also fluent in Russian.

Ashley, although new to us, has been working in the Dental field for some time. She’s a happy helper and enjoys what she does.

Saad is a foreign trained dentist from Pakistan that moved over the US and pursued Dental Hygiene. Dentistry runs deep in the family because his wife is a practicing US dentist and his uncle a manufacturer of dental surgical instruments. Saad is a strict vegetarian and an active car enthusiast.

Gari is our lead dental assistant here in our practice. He handles running the back clinical staff day to day and also taken on the roll as my laboratory technician. Another foreign trained dentist(The third in our practice), trained in Albania and practiced there for may years before moving to the states to work as a dental assistant. Gari(like Tamara) is also studying to take his US boards to work as a dentist in the states.

Kathrine is our new dental assistant to our practice and learning fast. She enjoys the surgical aspect of dentistry and making people smile.

Yolanda is our lead Endodontic assistant. Previously a full time endodontic assistant at her previous office but moved to general when she started with us. She handles all things root canals from ordering to preparation, she’s a one stop shop when it comes to root canals.

Noreca is a our every woman front office representative. Quick with a smile and cheerful always, she always there to make your day brighter.

Tiffini has an infectious smile and personality. She’s the first face you see when you come into our practice and sets the tone for your visit. Tiffini lights up the room and just knows how to make someone feel comfortable. She’s a vibe!

Nung is our full time sterilization tech. He runs our four autoclaves, keeping them clean and humming. The everyman for anything we need to keep the day and appointment going, Nung is the most likely name to be called over the radio whenever we need something.

Ashli is a talented dental assistant working with the general dentists and also with our in house periodontist(Dr. Hamilton). Smart and talented she has an exceptional ability to soak up information and get it right the first time.

Dayana is Dr. Lorenzo’s lead Orthodontic assistant. You’ll either meet her directly and she’ll be behind the scenes to make sure your orthodontic experience is moving along smoothly. She also speaks spanish.
