The Doctors
Dr. Jonas Ashbaugh, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Jonas Ashbaugh earned his dental degree from the Ohio State University, after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Southern Jacksonville Dental Society. Dr. Ashbaugh has also been awarded the Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ashbaugh takes numerous postgraduate education courses each year and has received extensive training in sedation, occlusion (your bite) and esthetic dentistry, allowing him to incorporate these treatments into his practice so he has a multitude of methods for solving complex dental problems. Most recently, Dr. Ashbaugh has completed a nine month comprehensive dental implant program through the Las Vegas Implant Maxicourse.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Ashbaugh is an instructor for Smart CE online instructional series for Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, and Dentist nationwide. He is also a co-host for a popular dental podcast, Shared Practices, in which he shares his expertise in best practices for running a successful dental office.
Dr. Ashbaugh is an active participant in the community. He and his wife, Dr. Stevens, live in the area with their two children, Benjamin and Jonathan. In his spare time, he enjoys in-shore and off-shore fishing, wakeboarding, golfing and catching a football game.
Dr. Kathleen Stevens
Dr. Kathleen Stevens earned her dental degree from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry, after earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She holds professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Northeast District Dental Association.
Throughout her career Dr. Stevens has always strived to further her skills. She has completed several post graduate education courses and has received extensive training in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and facial esthetics. Her commitment in continued education has allowed her to provide a wide array of services to her patients while delivering the highest quality of dental care.
Dr. Stevens and her family enjoy participating in the activities this great city of Jacksonville has to offer. Whether it be a day on the beach or an afternoon football game (go Jaguars!) you can always find her out enjoying time with friends and family.

Dr. Rami Habib, D.D.S
Dr. Rami Habib, D.D.S, brings with him great distinction in the field of dentistry. He has gone through dental school TWICE and even did a year residency stateside after that. Before moving to the U.S, he was already an accomplished dentist in Egypt – graduating Dental School in Egypt from Alexandria University and also working there as a Faculty member. However his dream was to become a dentist in the US but, before he could do that, he would have to go through a US Dental School program all over again. Determined, Dr. Habib came over and graduated the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with distinction and followed that up with a 1 year residency at the Columbia University in New York. Finally, ready to settle in, he moved to Florida to be close to family and has made it his home.
He has a heart for the community and currently lives in the surrounding area with his wife. He’s an excellent communicator with a calm demeanor and goes above and beyond to explain treatment options without pressure.

Dr. Annette Lorenzo, D.D.S, C.A.G.S
Dr. Annette Lorenzo is a specialty trained Orthodontist that brings years of experience in treating patients with orthodontics. He is able to provide clear aligners, traditional bracket/ wires and even incognito or lingual braces!
She started her career as General Dentist, and worked for 17 years as GP before going back to school for her specialty training as Orthodontist.

Dr. Cindy Shi, D.D.S
Dr. Cindy Shi, D.D.S is our in-house endodontist! An endodontist is a dentist that has gone to residency specifically to only do Root Canals! Dr. Shi is very well know in the endodontic space with over 12,000 followers on instagram where she shares a lot of her tips and content. Check her out at @ShiDoesRootCanals.
Dr. Shi is graduated Dental School from Stony Brook University followed by a one-year residency at NYU College of Dentistry and then finally a two-year residency again at NYC in their Endodontic Residency Program.

Periodontist
Dr. Brenda Hamilton, D.M.D, M.S, F.A.G.D
Dr. Brenda Rodríguez Hamilton was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dentistry in 1995. Dr. Hamilton received her Navy commission under the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program (AFHPSP). She proceeded to her first assignment at Naval Dental Center Great Lakes, IL where she completed a fellowship in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and was awarded The Rear Admirals William O. Gallery & Henry A. Renken Junior Officer Award. From 1996-1998 she deployed aboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) where she earned her Surface Warfare Medical Dental Department Officer qualification, and became a trusty Golden Shellback. She later spent two years at the Naval Station Guam prior to transfer to the Washington Navy Yard where she later became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
In 2004, CAPT Hamilton completed a residency in Periodontics at the National Naval Postgraduate Dental School, Bethesda Maryland “The President’s Hospital.” She also earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
In 2011, Dr. Hamilton earned a Master of Science in Human Services with a specialization in Health Care Administration from Capella University, MN. In 2013, Dr. Hamilton was promoted to the rank of Captain in the United States Navy. Dr. Hamilton completed her military career with 27 years of dedicated and faithful service. Dr. Hamilton resides with her mother, two children, and her two furry children. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, going to the movies, baking, and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
Dr. Hamilton is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and maintains membership with the American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, Florida Association of Periodontists, and Academy of General Dentistry.
